About Us!
The Pool Players of Jamaica Association (PPJA) was founded and registered on the thirteenth day of February 2018. It is designed for people who play pool not only for fun, but also competitively, and is geared toward people who have no knowledge or experience about the game. As a result, everyone can enjoy the game in different ways being apart of this association.
The PPJA aims to solve issues that previous leagues/associations may have had in the past. All players will have an equal opportunity to win, based on the type of scoring system that will be used. It will be similar to that of the FargoRate System used in the American leagues. Our recording system will make it easy to properly document tournament and league matches, island-wide, and can be accessed on this website.
